The role

We're looking for an energetic, self-motivated Account Representative to service existing customers and grow new business across a defined BC & SK territory. You'll be an ambassador for Akhurst--building relationships, generating leads, presenting quotes, and closing sales while delivering exceptional customer service.

What you'll do

Prospect and grow business in your assigned territory; generate quality leads and manage a full sales pipeline. Service and strengthen relationships with existing customers. Collaborate with Sales Administrators and Product Specialists to prepare accurate proposals and quotes. Respond to website and phone leads within one business day and follow up on quotes and opportunities. Maintain up-to-date records in the company CRM (activities, opportunities, contacts). Travel to customer sites and industry trade shows as required.

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience as an outside Account Representative (B2B sales). Knowledge of the metal fabrication industry (lasers, welding, production equipment) is highly desirable. Strong organization, follow-up, and communication skills. Comfortable using Microsoft Office; CRM experience (Microsoft Dynamics/CRM an asset). Self-starter attitude, ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Willingness to travel within the territory.

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
