Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, and maintaining financial records. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of financial principles.

Duties

Process vendor invoices and ensure proper approval before payment. Perform account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial data. Analyze payment discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner. Utilize accounting software such as PeopleSoft, ADP, UltiPro, QuickBooks, or Ceridian for transaction processing. Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and vendor information. Collaborate with the accounts receivable team to ensure smooth financial operations. Prepare reports on accounts payable activities as needed for management review. Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and support.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, PeopleSoft, ADP, UltiPro, or Ceridian is highly desirable. Familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and account reconciliation. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Good communication skills for interaction with vendors and internal departments.
