Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and strong data entry skills to support accurate financial operations. Duties

Process and verify invoices using accounting software such as Workday, QuickBooks Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of payable transactions Manage accounts payable workflow, including invoice approval and payment scheduling Maintain accurate records of transactions through meticulous data entry Assist with accounts receivable tasks as needed to support overall financial management Collaborate with the procurement department on payroll-related activities Support month-end closing procedures and prepare reports related to accounts payable activities Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards in all financial transactions

Experience

Proven experience with accounting software such as Workday, QuickBooks, Sage, PeopleSoft, or UltiPro is preferred Familiarity with accounts receivable and payroll systems like ADP, Kronos is advantageous Strong bookkeeping skills and experience with account reconciliation are essential Prior work involving data entry and analysis skills in an accounting environment is highly desirable Knowledge of human resources processes related to payroll and benefits administration will be considered a plus Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently Ability to adapt quickly to new software systems and processes within a fast-paced setting
