Account Payable Associate

, you'll keep our vendor partnerships running smoothly by reconciling statements, resolving invoice issues, and ensuring timely payments, managing invoice discrepancies, supporting month-end reporting, and maintaining accurate records.




Please note: This is a Part-Time Permanent position. You will work 3 days per week (24 hours) in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday).

At Article, we have dozens of vendors who feed into the ecosystem that helps us get our Furniture products into our customers homes. Given the complexity of our business we need someone who loves the details, is not afraid to communicate with our internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis and can manage their time well during busy seasons.

Outside of the high volume weeks, there will be time to look into current processes and where they can improve. We want someone who will have a critical eye for additional improvements and work with the Accounts Payable Lead on making improvements.

About the Accounts Payable team:



You'll be a part of a Finance department that consists of 25 Particles, currently. The Accounts Payable team consists of 2 Particles (1 lead and 1 associate).###

What You'll Do:



Invoice Processing & Coding

Receive, verify, and process invoices and employee expense reports using Tipalti and Concur. Download invoices from vendor portals and upload them into Tipalti. Ensure accurate coding of invoices and expenses based on type, location, and purpose (e.g., prepayments, fixed assets, COGS).

Approvals & Vendor Management

Send weekly and month-end invoice approval reminders to managers. Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on discrepancies. Respond promptly to vendor and employee inquiries -- you're our AP point of contact.

Reporting & Month-End Support

Assist with month-end reporting and gather data for accruals. Reconcile PAD payments processed by vendors. Maintain organized filing systems and support accounting admin tasks.

Process Improvement

Identify areas for process improvement and work with the AP Lead to implement changes.
Help document and develop updated procedures as needed.
