Here’s how


  • Grow the SMB business by selling all SMB products to referrals provided by our Account Specialist team, execute outbound campaigns focused on specialized products for businesses with 30 – 100 employees
  • Identifies and sells against up and cross sell opportunities, based on customer’s evolving strategies, needs, and outbound campaign objectives
  • Leads and manages the sales process including developing the sale, negotiating contract terms and closing the deal
  • Builds a robust sales pipeline while developing a comprehensive strategy for long-term success
  • Identify opportunities at any pipeline stage that requires a seamless transition to our a Mid-Market sales team
  • Develop a comprehensive strategy to obtain customer intelligence, involving own contact networks
  • Creates a strong presence in the SMB industry via LinkedIn and other digital platforms and within our communities.
  • Provides insights and customer feedback to improve marketing campaigns and programs
  • Deliver best in class customer experiences, build strong relationships, and influence decision makers
  • Present creative and unique solutions to C-level executives
  • Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive offerings, negotiate and confidently overcome objections
  • Achieve monthly activation and revenue targets

You’re the missing piece of the puzzle


  • Post-secondary sales or business education and/or equivalent sales experience, minimum 3 years in an Account Manager role or similar.
  • An accomplished sales professional with a proven track record of achieving goals
  • Holds an existing book of business within SMB
  • Ability to demo and configure specialized products, experience in telecom considered an asset
  • A proven track record managing a sales funnel, and understand and implement activities that drive pipeline and outcomes
  • Executive level communication skills and strong ability to influence decision makers and stakeholders with experience fostering relationships with c-level executives
  • Advanced technology knowledge and business acumen
  • Strong presence with the SMB community and on digital platforms
  • Experience and confidence with virtual sales, specifically utilizing live meeting tools.
  • Enhanced negotiation and problem solving skills, known to be a creative thinker. Able to handle objections, and identifying and addressing true objections
  • Passionate about creating best-in-class customer experiences and a proven track record of cultivating and fostering relationships
  • Experience with CRM tools (SalesForce.com, considered an asset)
  • PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Google
