Align with Manager to build and execute on a comprehensive strategic plan to exceed sales revenue targets on a quarterly basis. Collaborate with Manager, Marketing and other business unit colleagues to identify and close revenue generating opportunities. Provide detailed and bold sales forecasts; identifying risk, action items, and resources needed to achieve. This role involves fluidly and cohesively working across the Medtronic matrix and with key customers to evolve the role according to rapidly changing market dynamics.

The purpose of the position is the development of long-term relationships with customers. Own, lead and contribute to the account blue sheet and strategic selling process. Liaise with Strategic Partnership Manager (SPM) and Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for account development.

A day in the life.

\xc3\x98 Promotes and sells Medtronic\'s products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.

\xc3\x98 Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.

\xc3\x98 Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs, and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic\'s products and/or services.

\xc3\x98 Promotes and establishes education of the company\'s products and/or services.

\xc3\x98 Conducts market research including customers and competitors\xe2\x80\x99 activities.

\xc3\x98 Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.

\xc3\x98 Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.

\xc3\x98 Responsible for reporting complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR)

\xc3\x98 Foster a strategic approach to drive consistent growth.

\xc3\x98 Be laser focused to exceed AOP, each quarter, while diligently managing expenses.

\xc3\x98 Bold and accurate forecasting is key!

\xc3\x98 Effectively managing/optimizing consignment inventory is critical.

\xc3\x98 The position requires a true entrepreneurial, \xe2\x80\x98hunter\xe2\x80\x99 skillset.

\xc3\x98 With Manager, coordinate the schedules of local Clinical Specialists (where applicable) to optimize procedural case coverage/patient programming and other required tasks.

\xc3\x98 Successful completion of required (and ongoing) product and sales related training curriculum.

\xc3\x98 Compliance with completing Medtronic functional training and education modules.

\xc3\x98 Manage hospital, SSO and GPO contracts (Pre-tender, Tender, Implementation).

\xc3\x98 Building a robust Capital Funnel and associated Sales Plan is essential.

\xc3\x98 Optimize increasing technical scope that often crosses OU lines

\xc3\x98 Clearly articulate strategic objectives to navigate and deliver value to Provincial healthcare systems.

\xc3\x98 Establish education programs related to the company\'s products and/or services.

\xc3\x98 Drive share within the defined market and territory

\xc3\x98 Ability to support account clinical support demands as required.

\xc3\x98 Implement and execute launch plans for defined portfolio

\xc3\x98 Develop relationships and maintain continuity within the defined market

\xc3\x98 Liase with marketing and engage key clinical stakeholders and administrators in a broader \xe2\x80\x9cvalue\xe2\x80\x9d story regarding the related product offering associated with the position

Must Have.

\xc3\x98 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree

\xc3\x98 Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the healthcare field.

\xc3\x98 Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time. Travel will include over-nights and weekends.

\xc3\x98 Must have a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license with no restrictions.

\xc3\x98 High level of integrity, ethics and compliance.

\xc3\x98 Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule. Role often involves evenings, weekends and Provincial holidays.

\xc3\x98 Ability to work independently and proactively.

\xc3\x98 Collaborative approach and team oriented.

\xc3\x98 Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

\xc3\x98 Knowledge of related anatomy and/or surgical procedures an asset

\xc3\x98 Strong presentation skills.

\xc3\x98 Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
