: The candidate for this position will have a solid and proven track record in sales and account management in the IT industry. The Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales and revenue goals by developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with existing customers and partners. Account management and deal-making skills required for this role include: strategic consulting and needs assessment, identifying and driving new business opportunities, pricing negotiations, contract development, and working with internal experts to propose solutions to prospective clients.
Responsibilities include
Primary client and prospect relationship manager
Is the primary client escalation point & advocates for client requirements
Primary client CRM manager - for assigned clients
Performs net-new client creation through a variety of lead-gen methodologies
Ensures all clients and prospects are aware of all Tuor product and service offerings
Ensures maximum entrenchment of Tuor products and services within each client
Performs company services presentations
Performs sales closings for proposals, projects and contract agreements as well as initial procurement level orders
Provides monthly quote, sales, pipeline and KPI (Key Performance Index) reporting
Utilizes product specialists, as outlined in company Resource Guide, and vendors for client product presentations
Creates and presents client proposals utilizing provided templated resources
Schedules and performs all regular client engagements including QBR, ABR and event participation as per the documented sales process
Adheres to the goals and objectives set out in KPI documentation developed by the AM with assistance from Director of Sales / VP of Operations
Ensure that Account Receivable escalations are addressed promptly according to the provided instructions, and keep stakeholders updated on progress as requested.
Supports PM's during project delivery
Engages SA's for solution designs as per the sales/PSD process and published Resource
Proficiency in the following areas of technology is required.
Professional sales experience with a Managed Services Provider or in high-tech/service-related industry.
Strong product knowledge of Cyber Security, Microsoft 365, BCDR and Cloud Services is preferred.
Experience in Solution Selling techniques with an emphasis on strong account and relationship management.
Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas.
Ability to build relationships and quickly develop trust with C-level executives
Strong presentation, communication, organization, multitasking, and time management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team sales environment with minimum supervision.
Education
One of the following is required: a) Degree or Diploma or b) Microsoft Certifications. Other industry certifications would be an asset.
