The Opportunity: We are adding a solutions-driven sales executive with a proven track record serving and developing major accounts. You will step into an exciting new role delivering high performance caster mobility solutions to Fortune 500 OEMs and customers operating in segments such as medical, maintenance/cleaning, manufacturing/automotive, hospitality, and entertainment. You have a successful track record building strong business connections with OEMs, distributors and other companies in our various market segments. You enjoy spending time in the market to understand customer requirements and finding innovative solutions. Reporting to the President, you will be responsible for growing an existing portfolio of customer accounts while developing new business for our line-up of market leading caster and wheel solutions in OEM and other settings across North America for material handling applications including the movement of heavy-loads and valuable equipment. Through excellent client relationship management, prospecting, client-focused solution development, negotiation and follow-up, you will grow our position with longstanding customers and deliver major new accounts. Some of the exciting things you will be responsible for: \xc2\xb7 Represent Darcor in the North American market working directly with end-user customers exploring ways to improve their material handling and other caster mobility applications with a focus on ergonomic performance creating safer, more healthy and efficient workplaces. \xc2\xb7 Develop a thorough understanding of our solutions and value proposition, the markets we serve and their challenges, and the competitive landscape welcoming the support of resident subject matter experts.

  • Aggressively prospect for new business within existing and new customers by understanding the market, using account-based sales and business development planning, and gathering customer intelligence to build a target profile.
  • Spend half your time prospecting for net new customers leveraging sales qualified leads from our marketing lead generation engine.
\xc2\xb7 With exceptional multi-level account management and communication skills, foster client relationships with an assigned portfolio of OEMs, OEM fabrication partners, and other direct customers to grow our business. \xc2\xb7 Develop customer-focused solutions having assessed the customer needs and challenges, consulting with colleagues for best use cases, and conducting sales presentations of alternative solutions to customer stakeholders. \xc2\xb7 Successfully navigate the negotiation and closing process reenforcing our value proposition (including total cost of ownership), strategically involving supporting team members, and achieving objectives for commercial terms. \xc2\xb7 Follow up with customers throughout the sales process to ensure customer expectations, project milestones, and timelines are being met. \xc2\xb7 Bring general business skills and acumen to the table with a sound understanding of our core values, direction, and objectives to shape solution delivery. \xc2\xb7 Daily use of CRM software (HubSpot) to maintain and organize customer information, interactions, and sales activities.
  • Regularly update and analyze customer profiles ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
o Savvy use of sales process technologies and other software applications (sales navigator, zoominfo etc.) and social media platforms to leverage throughout the sales process. \xc2\xb7 Share market intelligence and other observations as input for actionable marketing demand generation initiatives that will increase awareness and the presence of Darcor as a supplier of high-performance ergonomic mobility solutions.   • Minimum 5 years technical solutions sales experience to OEMs (ideally involving ergonomic applications and some exposure to casters).
  • Post-secondary education (Engineering, Ergonomics, Kinesiology desired) supplemented by professional sales training and experience.
  • A solid track record of account management and business development with an OEM, distributor and Fortune 500 customer base that shows growth.
  • Demonstrated capability to build technical product and application knowledge.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and presentation skills and a history of long-term, high-trust customer relationships.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including MS Teams and CRM sales systems (HubSpot).
  • Willing and able to travel within and outside Canada up to 30% of the time and you possess a valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License, clean driver\'s abstract, and a valid passport.
