We're seeking a driven and customer-focused
Account Manager
to develop and maintain strong partnerships within the industrial sector. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking, technical understanding, and excellent relationship management to deliver outstanding client experiences while driving business growth.
Main Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
Needs Analysis:
Understand client objectives, operational challenges, and technical requirements to recommend tailored solutions.
Account Growth:
Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding business within existing accounts.
Sales Strategy Execution:
Develop and implement account plans aligned with company goals and revenue targets.
Negotiation & Contract Management:
Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and renewals to optimize profitability and maintain customer trust.
Project Coordination:
Work closely with internal teams -- including operations, customer service, and technical departments -- to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.
Market Development:
Represent the company at trade shows, client visits, and industry events to strengthen brand visibility and establish new business relationships.
Performance Monitoring:
Track account performance, analyze key metrics, and prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports.
Issue Resolution:
Proactively address and resolve client concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
Collaboration:
Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Skills and requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
Demonstrated success in B2B sales or account management, ideally in an industrial, manufacturing, or technical environment.
Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written), as the client base includes customers across Quebec, other Canadian provinces, and the United States*. Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales forecasting tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and influencing skills.
Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
Organized, adaptable, and results-oriented with a strong customer focus.
