Your Role:

MilliporeSigma has been selling water purification systems for over 50 years. We are the Market Leader for selling point-of-use systems for Type I, Type II and Type III applications. Our markets include ANY laboratory that needs purified water.

As the Account manager you will be selling MilliporeSigma water purification systems, consumables, & service. You are driven and want to succeed and take care of your customers. The accounts can include universities, medical schools, environmental, food & beverage and testing laboratories, pharmaceutical labs. We are looking for a dedicated and energetic sales representative who will sell MilliporeSigma Water Purification Systems to a wide range of laboratories.

This is a full-time, field-based sales position located in OntarioCanada promoting our Milli-Q Lab Water Solutions at MilliporeSigma. The qualified candidate will be responsible for the sale of the company's Milli-Q Lab Water product and service portfolio through both direct and distribution channels and be driven to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets established by Area Management. The role requires development and maintenance of solid working relationships with identified distributors, the ability to efficiently manage a sales territory through planned coverage and follow-up of key accounts and a high level of technical and application knowledge utilized in a manner which will add value to our products and services while promoting and maintaining customer allegiance.

Location: The ideal candidate will be physically located in the Toronto/Mississauga/Oakville metropolitan area.

Travel: 40-50% (Ontario excluding the Ottawa Valley area)

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree 3+ years of field sales within life science industry Fluent in English, speaking, reading, and writing.


Preferred Qualifications:

Previous water purification selling, or servicing experience preferred Looking for candidate that is highly organized that can manage his/her territory in an efficient manner and who can keep up with the demands of this job, such as answering voicemails and emails in a timely manner, planning customer visits, working with our service group, keeping up with leads and quotes, and sometimes dealing with anxious customers and their various demands. Familiarity with laboratory applications and testing to include instrumentation Familiarity with the clinical marketspace Familiarity with some mechanical/engineering/construction specifications & terminology Job requires some lifting of equipment, ability to walk halls, stand at show booths, driving through territory to visit accounts. Territory includes Ontario excluding the Ottawa region. Overnight travel will be required. Previous coverage of territory (full or partial) is advantageous. Basic computer skills and understanding of WORD, EXCEL and POWERPOINT is paramount to job success. Previous SalesForce.Com experience would be highly preferred.
Base Pay Range for this position 87,500-131,300 Our ranges are derived from several sources, and largely reliant on relevant industry market data. Should we decide to make an offer, we will consider several factors, including but not limited to your location, skills, experience, career level, and other job-related factors.
