A DAY IN THE LIFE

Reporting directly to our Vice President and Agency Director, you will be actively involved in all areas of account services and execution for Nine Point Agency clients. Primarily, you will work with local and national lifestyle, fashion, beauty, design, wellness, food, beverage, travel, news, and business media to secure coverage in identified publications and to support our client\xe2\x80\x99s goals.

A day in your life will involve a little bit of everything, including:

• Managing and mentoring others on your team, including the Account Lead, Account Coordinator, and Interns.
• Proactively scouting out, securing, and engaging in PR and media relations opportunities, as well as influencer campaigns for all clients.
• Owning the role of managing client accounts and executing strategies at a high level, including influencer campaigns.
• Nurturing client relationships through actively participating in client meetings and being extremely responsive to their needs.
• Spearhead PR, influencer, and social media projects, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements.
• Supporting the VP and Agency Director with additional projects and tasks, as needed.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• Diploma or bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Marketing, Communications, Creative Writing, or other relevant discipline.
• 3+ years of agency and/or PR experience in addition to 1+ years of experience in a managerial role.
• Computer and tech-savvy with advanced experience with Mac computers and Microsoft Office applications.
• Your exceptional written and verbal communication skills set you apart from other candidates.
• Unmatched copywriting and editing skills (enhanced by your keen eye for detail!).
• An eye for aesthetics with regard to social media, digital marketing, and other visual displays \xe2\x80\x93 you instinctively know what works and what doesn\xe2\x80\x99t.
• The ability to multitask and take initiative in a fast-paced environment will allow you to truly thrive in this role!

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience working with media contacts in BC and in wider North America with established contacts and relationships in media, influencers, KOL\xe2\x80\x99s and industry connections.
• Experience working with influencers (paid/unpaid collaborations, pitching/outreach, negotiation).
• Experience using Cision, Mac OX, Photoshop and Pages.
• Digital marketing skills (including content creation, paid campaigns, email marketing, and advertising).
• Experience with event management and creative strategy
