As Akur8 continues to expand, we're looking for an

Account Manager

with a strong

expertise

in

account management or other types of client facing roles

to help

continue our growth in North America with a focus on developing our existing book of business through upsell and cross-sell opportunities.





You'll join the

North America sales

team, whose mission it is to

drive revenue growth for Akur8 in North America. You will be accountable for net new recurring revenue on your list of accounts and for renewing existing revenue.




Your main responsibility/ies shall be to

manage an existing book of business, including renewals and upsell opportunities

, and you can expect to contribute to our continuing success by:

Securing 100% client retention through successful renewals

Increasing revenues through upsell and cross-sell opportunities

Ensuring client satisfaction and long term growth with Akur8

Owning a revenue target that will directly contribute to the North America and company revenue objectives.



As an

Account Manager

, your typical set of missions include:

Act as the primary point of contact for a named list of accounts and establish relationships with key decision makers.

Drive renewals and retention, ensuring high customer satisfaction and long-term success.

Lead upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize account value - this includes leading the full sell cycle from opportunity identification, pilot management to contract negotiations and signature.

Develop a deep understanding of client needs and collaborate with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer support.

Monitor key account health indicators to mitigate risks and prevent churn.

Maintain accurate records of account activities, using CRM tools and reporting on customer insights.


We're looking for motivated individuals with +4 years of experience in sales and a strong interest in technology, eager to grow their skills in SaaS solutions. Ideal candidates have a passion for challenges, new market ventures, fast moving organizations and out of the box thinking.




EDUCATIONAL / PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

You have 4+ years of professional experience in account management, partnerships or consulting. You have worked in a high-growth B2B technology company. Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.

HARD SKILLS

You have a track record of hitting and achieving quota. You have proven experience in managing client relationships You have experience in handling contract negotiations You know how to build an effective and actionable account business strategy You are familiar with sales protocols and SaaS company processes, use of CRMs, Slack communication, multi-teams interactions. You understand how to work with technical teams and navigate a global company.

SOFT SKILLS

You are empathetic, humble and trustworthy You have a capacity for detailed analysis and for converging to detailed and actionable plans You are flexible and adaptable. You are comfortable dealing with multiple and constantly new topics

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable working in a multicultural and international environment.

BONUS SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

Experience working at a SAAS company Technical fluency on topics such as cloud architecture, API and integration, IT project delivery. Insurance industry experience
