At FDM, our Sales Development Program will prepare you for your eventual role as an Account Executive where you will represent the client facing side of FDM's sales and recruiting team. The primary objective of this role is to find, grow, develop, and obtain sales from new and existing clients and place our IT consultants in long-term contracts. As this is an entry-level role, our Sales Development Program will provide you with exposure to the tools, training, and hands-on experience needed to become an effective and successful salesperson.
While we do not believe in 360 recruiting and selling, we do believe that someone who demonstrates success in fundamental recruitment skills builds a good base to utilize for success in the sales arena. Therefore, our successful candidates will start in a recruitment capacity and then progress on to a sales role once they have demonstrated recruiting proficiency.
While on the Sales Development Program you will develop:
A deep understanding of FDM's business, services, and customer landscape
Ability to assess emerging level talent and build relationships with applicants to FDM's Careers Programs
Sourcing, Prospecting and Pipeline development skills
Research and Presentation skills through engaging global projects designed to expose you to FDM's wider business and employees
As you progress to a full-time sales role, responsibilities may include:
Initial outreach to new and existing clients within your territory
Booking and running meetings with potential or existing clients
Grow and develop a network of client managers who trust you to deliver
Support clients in delivering on projects/initiatives by identifying resource solutions through FDM's Academy and Consultants
Achieve budgeted sales and production objectives established by management
Ensure quality customer service through a pro-active approach to finding and creating solutions

Au sein de FDM, notre programme de formation en ventes vous preparera a votre role en tant que gestionnaire de comptes, ou vous representerez l'entreprise aupres de nos clients. L'objectif principal de ce poste est de trouver, de developper, d'obtenir et de conclure des ventes aupres de nouveaux clients et de placer nos consultants en TI/Finance sur des contrats a long terme. Comme il s'agit d'un poste de niveau debutant, notre programme de formation en ventes vous permettra d'acquerir les outils, la formation et l'experience pratique necessaires pour devenir un vendeur efficace et performant.
Durant votre parcours de formation vous aller developper :
Une comprehension detaillee du modele d'affaires de FDM, des services offerts, ainsi que de la clientele
L'habilite d'evaluer de nouveaux talents ainsi que de creer des relations avec les candidats au programme de developpement de carriere
La prospection et la capacite de gestion de portefolio
Capacite de recherche et de presentation durant divers projets
Pendant votre progression au sein de votre role. Les responsabilites peuvent impliquer:
Etablir le premier contact avec de nouveaux clients
Planifier et diriger les rencontres avec des clients potentiels ou existants
Developper un portfolio de clients et de connaissances pouvant vous aider a atteindre vos objectifs
Supporter les clients dans leurs projets en identifiant les ressources ideales au sein de notre academie
S'assurer de livrer un service client d'exception en etant proactif et de creatif

Qualifications
Languages: English and French required due to interactions with multiple internal and external stakeholders across the globe
Excellent communication skills. Due to the operational requirements of this role, including frequent communication with clients and FDM employees located outside Quebec, the duties associated with this position require proficiency in English.
