With over 30 years of experience, our partner was the original company dedicated to the development of computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) solutions for the design and fabrication of custom orthotic and prosthetic (O&P) devices. They were also the first to develop every major technical advancement in the field. Fast forward to today - thousands of prosthetists and orthotists at over 800 facilities in 45 countries have supplanted messy plaster-casting methods with a digital approach that uses non-contact optical shape scanners, 3D design software, automated mold carvers, and 3D printing solutions. Based on 28 years of research and development focused on the P&O industry, these non-contact shape scanners, 3D design software, and automated mold carvers are fast, accurate, and easy-to-learn.

The Role

  • We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Account Manager to join our team, unearth new opportunities and skillfully manage the sales cycle from start to finish
  • Work closely with the Commercial Group to develop custom solutions for recurring service needs that address our prospective customers needs
The Responsibilities
  • Establish and develop relationships with corporate and commercial clients, primarily across North America (travel required)
  • Conduct high volume prospecting to qualify leads through marketing campaigns, calls, emails, and social media to generate quality opportunities for our Partner Channels
  • Develop sales strategy to seek and add new partners according to plan, with Commercial and Global Partner Sales
  • Collaborate on new ideas and strategies for identifying and winning potential new partners
  • Identify, generate, and qualify Preferred Partner leads through outreach
  • With Global Partner Sales, transition new client accounts, track, and manage their success
  • Help organizations of all sizes to realize the potential of our product within their organization
  • Manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales, and identify new business opportunities
The Requirements
  • 3+ years of sales and business development experience in a B2B environment
  • Background in medical device, pharmaceutical sales or equivalent
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding monthly & quarterly sales metrics
  • Capable and experienced traveler, meeting travel requirements across North America up to 50% of the time, with some travel overseas (valid passport required)
  • Strategic and high-level selling skills derived from working in multi-layered, business-to-business focused environments
  • To convert prospective partners, qualifying their service offering and leading them towards a defined onboarding path. This function activates the partner's growth potential
  • Demonstrated experience prospecting new clients through a combination of cold-calls and in-person meetings
  • Proven track record of success in business development demonstrated by meeting aggressive sales targets
  • Documents all activities and opportunities consistently into Salesforce CRM
  • Strong communication skills, including presentation skills
