Account Manager
Primary Responsibilities
Communicates with existing customers to secure continuing sales and maintain strong customer relationships.
Grow sales and identify new market and product opportunities
Drives and monitors customer satisfaction, issue resolution and follows through on commitments.
Have a comprehensive understanding of the customer's business to align the appropriate products and advise.
Advise the branch of pricing competitiveness to achieve margin expectations
Retain product knowledge and advise customers of the features and benefits of our products and services
Drives to meet and exceed sales targets at appropriate profit margins.
Generate new business through networking and cold calling. Customer contact will be face to face along with email and phone.
Qualifications
Positive attitude
Conducts themselves in a professional manner and able to keep information confidential
Excellent communication and people skills. (oral and written)
Proven strong computer skills
Preferred a minimum of 2 years of industrial sales experience
Knowledge of industrial gases and welding supplies an asset
Strong relationship building skills
Must carry a Class 5 drives license with a good driving record
