Position Overview:
Phantom Compliance is a one-stop compliance partner serving clients in both crypto and fiat finance. We're hiring a client-savvy
Account Manager
with strong regulatory insight and sharp negotiation skills to manage long-term partnerships--many spanning multiple jurisdictions and involving MSBs, AML, and Risk Management.
You'll be a trusted client advocate--solving most client issues independently, guiding complex conversations, and driving value for both clients and the company.

What You'll Do
Act as the central communication link, managing cross-channel communications to deliver daily client support to all inquiries.
Escalate complex concerns with urgency and transparency, ensuring positive client outcomes and collaboration across internal teams.
Maintain and curate Confluence knowledge resources, including FAQs and troubleshooting guides, to support both clients needs and internal workflows proactively.
Investigate product and service issues, partnered with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions, and drafted MSAs tailored to client needs.
Deliver client education on products and services, tools and operational best practices to enhance service adoption and satisfaction.
Track account performance, deliverables, and roadmaps using HubSpot and Jira, driving alignment through structured internal reporting.
Collaborate cross-departmentally with marketing, operations, and admin teams to continuously improve the customer journey.
Host onboarding and training programs with a focus on KYC/AML and other financial compliance requirements.
Lead client meetings from agenda preparation to follow-up execution, ensuring clarity, accountability, and alignment on deliverables.
Identify opportunities to promote feature adoption and improve regulatory readiness through consultative upselling.
Ensure accuracy and currency of client documentation, communication templates, and HubSpot records for operational efficiency.
What You Bring
3 years in account management, customer success, or client support--ideally in crypto or financial tech.
Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making skills.
Solid grasp of tools like Google Workspace, Slack, HubSpot, or Jira.
Familiarity with FINTRAC, FinCEN, KYC, and AML/ATF frameworks.
Insight into client needs in high-risk sectors or complex regulatory environments.
Bonus points if you have

1-3 years of experience with crypto onboarding, custodial wallets, or trading platforms.
Knowledgeable about KYC and reporting requirements from FINTRAC and FinCEN.
Familiarity with AML/ATF regulations and risk mitigation strategies.
1 year of public speaking or presenting.
