Role Overview
The
Account Manager
is a growth-driven relationship leader responsible for building and expanding long-term partnerships with Tecnet's clients. This role is pivotal in driving strategic sales initiatives, delivering executive-level account management, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience. The Account Manager acts as a trusted advisor to decision-makers, aligning Tecnet's solutions with their business goals to maximize value, foster satisfaction, and retain and grow revenue across key accounts.
In this role you are an expert in relationship management, capable of identifying new revenue opportunities, guiding clients through technology planning, and advocating on behalf of clients to internal teams. This role includes high-touch executive reporting, quarterly business reviews, forecasting, and tactical engagement to meet and exceed personal and sales growth targets.

Schedule
This is a full-time permanent position with 8-hour shifts from 8am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday for a total of 40 hrs weekly.

What You'll Do:
Sales Strategy & Account Growth
Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with quarterly sales goals and vendor programs.
Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities within existing accounts.
Maintain a healthy, accurate sales pipeline in HubSpot, managing all stages of the sales cycle.
Collaborate with Junior Account Managers to deliver timely, high-quality quotes and purchase orders.
Client Relationship Management
Act as the primary point of contact and strategic advisor for assigned clients.
Lead executive check-ins, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and ongoing client communications.
Resolve escalations efficiently while ensuring consistent, transparent client updates.
Customize engagement strategies to align with each client's goals, culture, and cadence.
Client Retention & Satisfaction
Monitor client health metrics and proactively address signs of churn or dissatisfaction.
Leverage feedback to identify service improvements and innovation opportunities.
Maintain a portfolio of referenceable clients and secure testimonials when applicable.
Vendor & Market Alignment
Stay current on Tecnet's services and key vendor offerings (e.g., Microsoft, Fortinet, Verkada).
Attend ongoing training sessions, webinars, and events to deepen product and market knowledge.
Align client strategies with vendor targets to support partnership and program success.
Reporting & Internal Collaboration
Provide weekly EOS sales scorecard updates, pipeline insights, and bi-weekly account headlines.
Document all sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions in HubSpot.
Complete quarterly QBRs with each client and submit feedback internally.
Maintain vendor matrices and technology stack overviews for each strategic account.
What You'll Bring:
Education & Experience
Degree in Business, Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
Ongoing commitment to product, service, and sales training.
Strong business and technology acumen with the ability to align solutions to client needs.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong professional relationships.
Skilled in conflict resolution, negotiation, and achieving consensus.
Comfortable working flexible and extended hours when needed.
Understanding of client budgeting processes and financial decision-making triggers.
Proficient in administrative tools and office software with strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
Adaptable and eager to take on new challenges as they arise.
Valid BC Driver's License.

Consistent, accurate reporting on sales performance, forecasting, QBRs, and activities.
