Account Manager, Brand Partnerships

Universal Music Group for Brands is looking for a client-centric partnership marketer with a passion for music and entertainment to join our team. As Account Manager, Brand Partnerships, you will lead the planning and execution of live partnerships that produce results for clients and deliver value for the organization, displaying and encouraging organization, communication, creativity and innovation.
Responsibilities
Lead the execution of client projects from sign-off to completion, managing multiple projects with concurrent deadlines through effective execution, account management and budget management
Build positive business relationships with clients and internal planning teams
Project tasks include proactive contact, responding quickly to requests, offering innovative ideas, understanding/ addressing challenges and gaining clients trust
Manage project budget, operational cost management
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to fulfill obligations, ensuring that all work undertaken maximizes the available cross-functional resources in an efficient and cost-effective manner
Recap executed projects with both internal & client teams to highlight successes & learning opportunities
Identify and support the development of incremental business opportunities with existing clients
Manage assigned new business categories, including consistent market research, outreach and supporting pitch development
Proactively identify and manage problems and develop solutions with internal teams
Understand our business and drive affinity for Universal Music artists in the marketplace, staying current with all parts of the dynamic marketing mix, including digital, social media and experiential
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years or proven related experience in a marketing execution, account management or event executions role at an agency, brand or property
Demonstrated experience working with brand partners
Hardworking, honest, knowledgeable and attentive
Presentation skills and experience an asset
Enjoyment in managing relationships will create immediate impact for this role
Deep understanding and immersion in culture - primarily music, sponsorship and media
Extensive experience managing and monitoring budgets across large-scale accounts
Exceptional organizational skills and superb oral and written communication, with strong presentation skills
Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment, with strong management skills, enthusiasm and can-do attitude
Team player who is results-oriented, proactive and has a strong work ethic
Ability to operate with speed, flexibility and creativity, with world class attention to detail across all projects aspects
