We are looking for someone to help share more fun with Canadians as an Account Manager who will be responsible for the growth and industry leading customer service of HPD.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone that enjoys building long lasting relationships and loves to deliver a positive customer experience. Most importantly they love having fun.



The

Account Manager

is a wholesome sales person who is responsible for delivering industry leading service to drive engagement and revenue growth across defined channels. This role requires a motivated, driven individual who is excited by a challenge and is not afraid to learn. You should have excellent communication and creative problem solving skills all while being customer service oriented.

As an integral part on our sales team, you will have the opportunity to increase your knowledge of Radio Controlled (RC) vehicles as well as a variety of hobby related goods including Airsoft, Diecast, Wooden Mechanical Models, Plastic Model Kits and more! We will also provide the following:

A successful candidate is expected to:

Manage Customer Accounts

Showcase and sell ideas and products using outstanding communication to our dealers and other leads Possess in-depth product knowledge relating to the Radio Controlled (RC) Hobby and be able to conduct demos and relay objection handling Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service, and identify potential new sales opportunities, and understand why certain opportunities did not work and come up with solutions Train dealers on products and how to maximize sales results. Provide solutions to help them recoup their capital by educating them on products, and provide support to set up and maintain an inventory system Find new stores and opportunities to grow our customer base Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all categories offered Research products from newly onboarded vendors and develop sales strategies to introduce them to new and existing dealers

Execute on monthly/weekly goals

Monthly Account Updates: for all assigned dealers to help them understand where they are and where they can improve Outreach Activity: to all assigned dealers to strengthen relationship Manually Placed Preorders: achieve a target number of orders for new and out-of-stock products each week Prospect Connections: connect with a target number of prospects each week

Build our Brand

Participate in brand and sales promotions. Be an active contributing member for business social media sites. Brand ambassador for HPD within current industry.

You also need to embody the traits or have the following skills:



Demonstrate our core values of Care, Honour and Initiative. Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities Previous business development/sales experience. Microsoft Office skills with experience using MS Excel, Word, and Outlook Excellent problem solver with the ability to multi-task Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills Experience working in a B2B environment, hobby experience is advantageous Able to work with minimal supervision
