As an Account Lead for Romer Labs, you will be the trusted face of Romer Labs in Canada, owning key client relationships, driving strategic sales growth, and delivering food safety solutions that make a real-world impact. This is a home-based position with no regular travel required, aside from initial training and one annual sales meeting.

Your key responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships by identifying client needs and recommending appropriate products, services, and solutions
Generate new business opportunities through lead generation, cold outreach, and upselling to existing and prior customers
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer segments to identify growth opportunities and refine market positioning
Prepare and deliver sales bids, manage account planning, and support the development of sales strategies to meet revenue targets
Accurately document all sales activities and customer interactions in Salesforce (CRM) to ensure data-driven decision-making
Continuously expand product knowledge through training to effectively communicate technical features and support customer success
Supports field-based Account Managers by preparing customer quotations and assisting their clients during absences to ensure uninterrupted service

You bring
Bachelor's degree preferred; background in sales or account management, ideally in food safety or life sciences
Bilingual in French and English with excellent communication skills required
Skilled in post-sale relationship management, strategic prospecting, and building customer rapport
Proven ability to analyze market trends and develop growth-oriented sales strategies
Proficient in CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) for pipeline management and data-driven decision-making
Ability to travel to the U.S. for training (2 weeks) and annual sales meetings (1 week)
