Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Account Executive to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area. This role combines office-based tasks, such as scheduling appointments and client communications, with field activities, including site visits, quoting, and closing sales. The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor to our clients, guiding them through significant investments ranging from $25,000 to over $1 million.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain professional relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Travel within the market to ensure timely project delivery and client satisfaction.
Manage existing accounts and generate new leads to maintain a robust sales pipeline.
Conduct site visits and prepare comprehensive, professional proposals.
Guide clients from initial contact through project completion, ensuring a seamless experience.
Procure special order products, manage necessary documentation, and coordinate with clients to meet delivery schedules.
Provide clients with detailed information on product selection and availability.
Qualifications:
Proven sales experience within the construction industry, particularly with building supplies; roofing experience is an asset.
Excellent communication skills; bilingualism is an asset but not required.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Technical education or experience in the building construction industry is beneficial but not mandatory.
Ability to differentiate building material products and their appropriate applications is advantageous.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints is a plus.
Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Proficiency with Internal CRM Software.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to set up and climb an extension ladder to access commercial roofs.
Reliable transportation for daily commuting to the office.
