R2i's head office is in Montreal, and we have offices in Markham, but working remotely is allowed at all times and remains your choice.

Key responsibilities

  • Actively seek new opportunities on a regular basis ("Hunting"):
  • Active prospecting to identify opportunities and establish the initial trusted contact;
  • Represent R2i at major events for business development. (Exhibition, fairs, networks);
  • Participate and invite customers to events;
  • Perform after-sales follow-up and account development ("Farming"):
  • Nurturing existing relationships;
  • Identify needs and position the R2i global offer;
  • Work as part of a team to develop sales strategies:
  • Integral sales cycle management and administrative compliance;
  • Manage the entire sales component of the sales process;
  • Prospecting and qualifying opportunities;
  • Write and present proposals;
  • Close sales and nurture relationships;
  • Manage communication with the customer:
  • Delivery, logistics, contract management;
  • Meet and exceed R2i's sales targets;
  • Submission/negotiation of bids and contract award;
  • Systematic updating of tools in the CRM at each key stage (Administrative rigour);
Profile required
  • Have at least five (5) years of experience in IT solution sales (IT infrastructure, cloud computing, data center, managed services);
  • Proven experience in managing major accounts;
  • Understanding of R2i's global offering;
  • Knowledge of manufacturing ecosystems (e.g. IBM, Dell, Lenovo, Azure) an asset.
  • Ability to work in both French and English (spoken and written). The job requires proficiency in English at a professional level. The candidate will interact on a weekly basis either with R2i (2) offices in Ontario or with various English-speaking customers or business partners.;?
Skills and Personal Characteristics
  • Thoroughness and administrative discipline: ability to manage a high volume of follow-ups and ensure that internal systems are systematically updated;
  • Relationship leadership: ability to be the entry point for the customer in the prospecting and negotiation phase, while managing expectations during the delivery phase;
  • Coordination: ability to mobilize and coordinate internal resources (inside sales and architects) without losing commercial control of the file;
  • Resilience and priority management.
