The Role:
The Account Executive is responsible for direct radio sales and rentals, and communications technologies, growing existing customer relationships as well as prospecting for new customers and existing clientele, corporate and government sales, and after-sale support in pursuit of revenue, market penetration and customer satisfaction objectives of the company. The Account Executive interacts with all levels of staff, customers, and the general public. Key Duties include:
Business Development: Proactively research and position new or existing radio communication technology solutions, including 2-way Radio System solutions, P25, mining solutions, and fleet upfitting.
Sales & Client Acquisition: Prospect and acquire new customers regularly, leveraging strong presentation and negotiation skills to win accounts.
Account Management: Develop and manage ongoing account plans for assigned territories and vertical markets, ensuring consistent achievement and exceeding of sales goals.
Customer Relationship Building: Maintain and grow existing client relationships, providing after-sale support and resolving customer issues with effective solutions.
Operational Excellence: Execute operational goals aligned with company and sales objectives, including accurate CRM record-keeping, sales forecasting, and account planning.
Sales Administration: Prepare sales and rental quotes, estimate pricing and terms, and ensure compliance with sales-related policies and procedures.
Event Promotion: Plan and execute trade shows to promote company products and services.
Qualifications:
A university or college degree in Business Administration and a minimum of five (5) years Telecom Services and Technical experience, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
A minimum of seven (7) experience in sales roles within a progressive customer care and sales environment with a proven track record meeting and exceeding set quotas, and customer satisfaction goals.
Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 applications; knowledge of CRM software.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to relate and demonstrate positive working relationships with all levels of staff, customers, and external contacts.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Maintain product knowledge by attending and completing training as required.
A valid driver's license with own reliable vehicle is required for travel to customer sites as needed.
Holder of valid passport to attend vendor training as required.
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance throughout employment as required for Public Safety and specific accounts.
Complete any necessary safety training and certification for customer site access.
