Job Summary:
The Account Executive, Group and Charter Sales role is responsible for the delivery and implementation of sales activities for all related Groups and Charter inquiries, in order to meet company targets for growth, revenue and profitability.

Actively promotes Porter\xe2\x80\x99s group and charter travel offerings to meetings and incentive travel industry in order to grow and maximize Porter Airlines load factors and profit. The Account Executive will consistently achieve revenue goals through all facets of the sales cycle including prospecting, existing account management, reporting, and strategy for best practices. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Actively promote Porter\xe2\x80\x99s group, conference, convention and charter travel offerings to meetings and incentive travel industry in order to grow and maximize Porter Airlines load factors, revenues and profit
  • Participates in applicable industry events representing Porter including tradeshows, client events, and industry specific associations
  • Maintains face to face relationships with strategic and key accounts
  • Coordinates group, meeting, and convention and conference travel sales activities including quoting, tracking, reporting and reconciliation in accordance with corporate-approved process
  • Coordinates aircraft charter market sales activities, including quoting, tracking, reporting and reconciliation according to the corporate-approved process
  • Tracks all sales activities and client contact data within CRM
  • Maintains sales performance reporting in accordance with departmental reporting cycles
  • Ensure all facets of customer experience are met or exceeded based on the execution of Charter or Group events to drive exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Collaborates closely with all areas within the department and the other functional areas including: Commercial Planning, SOCC, Customer Service and Catering to deliver well-coordinated and timely services
  • When requested, participates in applicable industry events representing Porter

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of industry relevant procurement and/or strategic group sales expertise
  • Industry profile and relationships preferred
  • A clear understanding of Porter\xe2\x80\x99s operating standards, systems and processes
  • Navitaire \xe2\x80\x9cNewskies\xe2\x80\x9d system knowledge and asset
  • Knowledge of aircraft charter and/or group conference sales is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Energetic, self-motivated and measurable results orientated
  • A demonstrable desire to develop sales acumen/expertise/experience with career objective for outside sales
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
  • Fluency in French is preferred
  • Post-Secondary Education #LI-Hybrid
