THE ROLE: Account Executive - Connect
Showpass has recently launched a discovery and distribution platform called "Connect" for attractions, experiences, and fun things to do around major cities across Canada.
THE LOCATION:
Calgary, Alberta (open to candidates willing/able to relocate to Calgary) THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Full end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation, outreach, negotiation, contracting, and nurturing the clients
  • Conduct cold outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other means of communication using various platforms such as Outplay, Gmail, ZoomInfo, and Hunter
  • Pitch and sell the Showpass Connect platform to a wide array of prospective clients ranging from live entertainment, tourism, events, food and beverage, sports, and more
  • Network and build effective relationships with professionals in the ticketing and events industry
  • Attend conferences and tradeshows related to ticketing and events
  • Maintain the sales pipeline using Salesforce with accurate and factual information
  • Gain market knowledge in assigned territories including seasonal opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing Team on promotional offers and creative campaigns for Connect clients and customers

THE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum two years of experience in technology/software sales is required
  • Post-secondary education in business or related field is an asset
  • Experience working for a startup tech company is an asset
  • Experience working within the events and travel industry is highly preferred
  • Experience with and comfortable cold calling leads and providing demos
  • CRM experience (preferably Salesforce) is extremely valuable
  • Large network of key individuals to support with growth efforts is an asset
  • Must be a self-starter and a team player with the ability to think outside of the box and suggest creative solutions
  • Strong time management skills and ability to handle competing requests
  • Energetic and approachable with a positive attitude
  • Ability to maintain a calm and friendly attitude when dealing with clients and/or customers
  • Availability on evenings and weekends for potential event on-sites
  • Ability to learn new software systems quickly
  • Must have a valid driver\'s license and access to a car at all times
