Account Executive

to join our Business Development team and bring in the right new clients for our Intelligent Technology program.

This isn't a sit-back sales role. You'll be on the front lines, prospecting, networking, and closing deals, while creating a positive first impression of Techify in every interaction. Things You Might Have Done Last Week If You Worked Here



Met with a business owner to solve a challenging technology problem. Researched prospective clients to identify decision makers and potential needs. Built your pipeline through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and networking. Created a short video to get our proactive IT message across. Followed up with a prospect ready to switch IT firms. Attended a networking event to meet decision makers. Used HubSpot CRM to re-engage someone in your Warm 250 list. Booked a new prospect meeting to present Techify's solutions. Connected with a prospect on LinkedIn in a creative way. Closed a big deal that the whole company celebrated. Strategized with the sales team during our weekly meeting on how to grow the pipeline.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)



Prospecting & Pipeline Growth

: Generate leads through cold calls (~200 per week), emails, social selling, networking, and referrals.

Meetings & Follow-ups

: Book ~3 First-Time Appointments (FTAs) per week and advance at least one-third to Second-Time Appointments (STAs).

Presentations & Proposals

: Deliver 4 solution demos/proposals per month and aim to add 2 qualified opportunities into the proposal pipeline monthly.

Closing Deals

: Consistently close new business--target 1 new deal per month worth ~$7K in MRR.

Networking & Partnerships

: Attend ~2 networking events per quarter and engage Centers of Influence (referral partners, influencers, etc.).

Thought Leadership

: Collaborate with leadership on events, webinars, and podcasts that generate inbound leads.

CRM Discipline

: Keep HubSpot updated with all activity, ensuring clean pipeline tracking and accurate forecasts.

Continuous Improvement

: Stay current on IT services, AI, and cybersecurity trends; refine your sales skills with training and coaching.

Must-Haves



4+ years of proven B2B sales experience with consistent quota attainment. Strong prospecting ability across multiple channels (calls, email, LinkedIn, networking, referrals). Excellent communication and presentation skills. Confidence engaging CEOs, business owners, and senior decision makers. Legally authorized to work full-time in Canada without sponsorship.

Nice-to-Haves



Experience selling technology, IT services, or solutions. Familiarity with HubSpot or other CRMs. A strong existing network in SMB or mid-market industries.
