Dulux Paints is owned by CIL (Canadian Industries Limited) a Canadian Company owning over 245 locations across Canada. We also manufacture SICO paints, Olympic, and sell specialty coatings used in industrial applications.

In this Account Development Manager for our Dulux locations in Moncton and surrounding area, roll you will call on painting contractors for new homes, high rise buildings, commercial, residential repainters, property maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, powder coaters, industrial applicators, city maintenance....this list goes on!

You will have the support of a manufacturing plant, and distribution center in Toronto, joining a sales team of 8 people across the Atlantic and local management to assist you to success! Marketing team in Toronto,

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, driving business development, and fostering strong relationships with clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills and a proven track record in B2B sales. The Account Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring client satisfaction and achieving company goals.

Responsibilities



Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and objectives. Drive business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing accounts. Utilize Salesforce to manage account information, track sales activities, and analyze performance metrics. Collaborate with marketing teams to create tailored solutions that meet client requirements. Conduct regular analysis of account performance and provide insights for improvement. Lead negotiations with clients to secure contracts and agreements that align with company goals. Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction. Prepare reports on account status, sales forecasts, and market trends for management review.

Requirements



Experience in the coatings industry - both Architectural and Industrial experience a plus Proven experience in account management or related field, preferably in B2B sales. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Experience in business development and marketing strategies that drive growth. Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM tools for managing client relationships. Excellent analytical skills to assess account performance and market opportunities. Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate teams towards achieving goals. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues. Key Responsibilities



Build and maintain strong client relationships while understanding their business needs and objectives.

Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts.

Use

Salesforce

to manage account information, track activity, and analyze performance metrics.

Collaborate with marketing to develop tailored solutions for client requirements.

Regularly analyze account performance and recommend continuous improvements.

Lead negotiations to secure agreements that align with company goals.

Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Prepare reports, sales forecasts, and market insights for management review.

Requirements



Experience in the coatings industry; both architectural and industrial experience are strong assets.

Proven success in account management or B2B sales.

Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Background in business development and growth-focused marketing strategies.

Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms as well as Microsoft

Strong analytical abilities to assess performance and market opportunities.

Leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
