ROLE

Sid Lee is seeking an Account Coordinator, PR who will report to the Account Director, Public Relations. In this role, you will support the development and implementation of PR strategies for a diverse roster of clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Media monitoring - Daily industry + client coverage updates
• Media relations - Maintain and update media lists and execute pitching efforts to secure media placements
• Research and content assistance - Conduct research and provide editorial support for development of the comms materials including press releases, blogs, articles, social calendars and more
• Industry knowledge - Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, media outlets, and emerging technologies to provide PR insights to clients
• Team collaboration - Effective collaboration and communication with other team members to execute PR campaigns

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor\'s degree in a related discipline (public relations, journalism, communications).
• 1+ years of experience in an agency set up.
• Superior writing and editing skills, with a true passion for a well-told story that engages and transports its audience.
• Good knowledge of social media, various media and newsroom operations.
• Attention to detail
