We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Account Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for invoicing and managing accounts receivable and payable, performing account reconciliations, and providing support in various financial and law clerking services. This role involves a high degree of confidentiality and requires proficiency in accounting software and strong mathematical skills to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. The Account Clerk will also demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and communication skills while interacting with law clerks, clients and vendors and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
Process monthly invoicing.
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
Perform account reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data.
Utilize accounting software (Soluno) for data entry and reporting.
Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation.
Assist our law clerks as needed.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports as needed.
Respond to inquiries from clients and vendors with professionalism and clarity.
Collaborate with team members to improve processes related to financial services and general office functions.
Qualifications
Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Soluno or PCLaw, is preferred.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and account reconciliation.
Excellent math skills with a keen attention to detail.
Effective phone etiquette and communication skills for law clerk and client interactions.
Previous experience in a clerical or accounting role is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
