Position Summary

The Accommodations Service Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of guest accommodations, including housekeeping, room readiness, guest service standards, and coordination with front desk, maintenance, and resort operations. This role ensures that guest rooms and accommodation areas consistently meet the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, presentation, and service.

The Accommodations Service Manager is a hands-on leader who supports staff performance, resolves guest issues professionally, and contributes to an elevated guest experience aligned with Nomi Resort & Spa's brand and values.

Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & Service Standards

- Ensure guest accommodations meet or exceed cleanliness, comfort, and presentation standards
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns related to accommodations
- Collaborate with front desk and resort operations to ensure seamless guest arrivals and departures
- Maintain a calm, respectful, and service-oriented guest experience

Housekeeping & Accommodations Operations

- Oversee daily housekeeping operations including room assignments, inspections, and turnover schedules
- Ensure rooms are cleaned, staged, and inspected according to established standards
- Maintain quality assurance checklists, logs, and procedures
- Coordinate linen, amenities, and supply inventory

Team Leadership & Scheduling

- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise accommodations and housekeeping staff
- Provide coaching, feedback, and performance management
- Foster a respectful, accountable, and high-performance team culture
- Align staffing levels with occupancy forecasts and seasonal demand

Quality Control & Inspections

- Conduct regular room inspections to ensure consistency and attention to detail
- Identify maintenance or repair issues and coordinate timely resolution
- Ensure corrective actions are implemented when standards are not met

Health, Safety & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and workplace regulations
- Maintain WHMIS, chemical handling, and safety protocols
- Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning equipment and supplies

Inventory & Cost Control

- Manage housekeeping and accommodations supplies within budget
- Monitor inventory usage and minimize waste
- Forecast supply needs in coordination with management

Communication & Coordination

- Maintain daily communication with front desk, maintenance, spa, and food & beverage teams
- Provide regular updates on room readiness and occupancy
- Escalate operational issues proactively

Continuous Improvement

- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and guest experience
- Participate in training and operational planning
- Support seasonal transitions and resort growth initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years experience in housekeeping, accommodations, or hospitality operations
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience
- WHMIS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules

Preferred Qualifications (Assets)

- Experience in a resort, hotel, or boutique hospitality environment
- Knowledge of housekeeping systems and quality standards
- Experience managing seasonal teams

Experience:



Resort Working experience in administrative role, and or spa administration experience

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:


- Secondary Diploma

- University Degree would be beneficial but not mandatory
