Job Overview:

The Access Control Program Administrator will help manage, coordinate, and execute the varying tasks within the security program. The primary objective of this role is to support the Site Security Manager and team in an administrative capacity including delivering high-quality CCTV review, Access System, and client services as efficiently as possible. This position may be requested to lead and manage small projects or initiatives at the discretion of the Manager.

The ideal candidate for our team will have exceptional organizational and execution skills to effectively coordinate and facilitate the daily administrative duties and coordinate the workflow activities and initiatives within the security team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Genetic Access Team to develop and manage schedules, resource plans, project commissioning and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Assist Managers and Coordinators with document creation and editing includes policies, procedures and post orders.
  • Work with field operations to support day-to-day requests.
  • Effectively manage and maintain all written and verbal communications.
  • Main point of communication for incoming calls and visitors.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to the public, including providing directions, signing out keys, and access cards.
  • Maintain client satisfaction and promptly resolve any concerns.
  • Assisting Leaders with any administrative tasks to support their roles.
  • Perform other tasks as required.
Qualifications:
  • Office Administration diploma with emphasis on the Microsoft suite
  • Post-Secondary certificates or equivalent on Computer Technology Program or similar experience
  • Previous coordination or corporate administration experience is preferred.
  • Ability to problem-solve and create solutions.
  • Experience in the construction/security industry would be considered an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Proven customer service skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently but within a team, manage time effectively, and work with multiple deadlines.
  • Capacity to effectively work with computers and technology to complete all assigned tasks.
