In the normal course, employees will be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the salary range for a job.

Job Summary
The Office of the Provost and Vice President, Academic (Provost's Office) at UBC Okanagan supports faculties as they conceptualize, develop, and deliver credit and non-credit academic programs. This includes providing market research and analysis to inform decisions related to program viability, sustainment, and renewal.
This position spearheads the market research and analysis to support new academic programs and reports on graduate outcomes for cyclical review processes of current programs. The analyst works in a consultative manner with faculty members and academic officers in departments, schools and faculties to design data collection approaches and instruments focused on matching academic program content and outcomes with market data (e.g., job postings, employment data). The analyst researches societal and labour market trends, assesses competitive programs, analyzes economic reports and creates summary reports that are used to guide decision-making.
Organizational Status
This position reports to the Senior Manager, Academic Programs, Teaching and Learning in the Provost's Office.
This position will also work closely with other members of the Provost's Office and will interact with faculty members, educational consultants and curriculum developers in faculties and will maintain connections with a broad spectrum of data stakeholders at UBC.
