Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Academic Compliance & Program Development Officer to join our team. This role will ensure that all academic programs remain compliant with Ministry of Education requirements and accreditation standards, while also supporting the development and renewal of curriculum in collaboration with faculty.

The successful candidate will serve as a key liaison between MBC, regulatory bodies, and instructors, ensuring programs are current, accredited, and effectively delivered.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with provincial regulations, accreditation standards, and Ministry of Education requirements. Manage program listings, submissions, and approvals with the Ministry. Coordinate curriculum development, review, and renewal processes. Collaborate with faculty to update course materials and ensure alignment with program outcomes. Track deadlines for program renewals and accreditation submissions, preparing documentation as required. Support internal audits, policy updates, and reporting related to academic compliance. Liaise with external stakeholders (regulators, ministry officials, partner institutions) as needed. Provide guidance and support to faculty on compliance matters.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Experience in post-secondary education administration, compliance, or accreditation. Strong knowledge of curriculum development and program management. Excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills. Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, administrators, and government bodies. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Salary

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
