Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Chief Academic Officer (CAO), the Academic Administrator ensures the management and coordination of administrative activities related to Academics and Student Services. They ensure the smooth running of academic operations, compliance with institutional procedures and the optimization of services as directed by the CAO. This role involves working closely with the various departments to ensure a smooth academic and student services experience that meets established quality standards.
Reports to: Chief Academic Officer
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the CAO in an administrative capacity;
  • Coordinate regulatory and institutional compliance requirements, including DQAB Annual Reports, Renewals, and Academic Calendar;
  • Coordinate data collection and analysis including student surveys;
  • Harmonize Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) data across programs with the Student Services team;
  • Maintain and update the Curriculum Library with the Academic Director and/or Program Directors;
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to improve academic processes and optimize the student experience;
  • Support faculty and students by providing them with the necessary information and resources;
  • Participate in the planning and organization of academic and student services events (exams, graduations, pedagogical meetings);
  • Coordinate faculty files;
  • Coordinate faculty development initiatives with the Faculty Development Committee and Academic Support Coordinator.
  • Coordinate the Policy Library with CAO, Academic Director and/or Program Directors.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Hold a university degree or equivalent experience in administration, education, management or any other relevant field;
  • Relevant experience in academic or administrative management.
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Administrative and Academic management;
  • Knowledge of registration, assessment and certification processes;
  • Proficiency in academic management tools and information systems;
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with multiple stakeholders;
  • Sense of service and orientation towards student and teacher satisfaction;
  • Rigor and management of priorities;
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Proactivity and adaptability.
