Job Overview


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated ABA Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality behavioral health services. The ideal candidate will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement evidence-based interventions. This role involves conducting assessments, collecting data, and developing individualized treatment plans to support clients' growth and development. The ABA Therapist will play a vital role in enhancing patient outcomes through patient-centered care and collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities



Implement applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and behavioral therapy strategies tailored to each client's needs Conduct behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to inform treatment planning Collect, record, and analyze data related to client progress and behavior changes accurately and consistently Assist with intake procedures and develop individualized treatment goals in collaboration with clinical teams Provide patient care that respects HIPAA regulations and maintains confidentiality of medical records and documentation Support clients during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for individuals with autism and other disabilities Maintain detailed medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and reports using appropriate medical terminology Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and monitor patient assessment outcomes Educate families and caregivers on behavioral strategies, progress updates, and intervention techniques

Requirements



Experience with children, especially those with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral health, special education, and diagnostic evaluation processes Strong understanding of medical records management, medical terminology, HIPAA compliance, and patient assessment procedures Ability to collect accurate data and document interventions effectively Excellent communication skills for working with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals Patience, empathy, and a commitment to patient-centered care Relevant certifications or training in behavioral therapy or related fields are preferred but not required Prior experience working with people with disabilities or in special education settings is advantageous
Job Type: Casual

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
