Barrantes owns and operates residential group home settings in the Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge and Guelph regions. Barrantes provides community- and home-based supports throughout southern and central Ontario.

is seeking an ABA Lead Associate devoted to helping clients achieve their goals. A successful applicant must:

Maintain a high standard of care, compassion, and commitment. Have the proven ability to work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary setting. Have the proven ability to work with clients of all demographics, including, but not limited to, clients with dual diagnoses, developmental disabilities, and complex behaviours. Be familiar with behaviour skills training and teaching replacement behaviours. Be familiar with task analysis, prompt fading, and identifying functions of behaviour. Demonstrate leadership capabilities. Possess a valid driver's license and maintain access to a vehicle for travel in the community. Possess valid First Aid and CPR training. Be able to obtain a valid, negative Vulnerable Sector Check.

Responsibilities:



Develop and maintain rapport with clients as required. Assist with and advocate for clients' needs. Implement effective behaviour management strategies from direction from the Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA). Create a supportive and collaborative environment in order to maximize clients' potential. Provide urgent response for clients in crisis. Complete clinical documentation after each client visit; provide updates to BCBA. Coach and collaborate with team members. Work closely with the BCBA. Prepare resources as needed.

Other Responsibilities:



Participate in continuing education opportunities and maintain certification requirements. Maintain confidentiality of client and company information. Support scheduling as needed.

Experience:



Experience working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum ABA: 1 year (preferred) Behaviour Support: 3 years (preferred) CPI/Safe Management Group training preferred Additional training in behaviour management and modification is considered an asset

Education and Training:



Post-secondary degree/diploma in Behaviour Science and Technology, or equivalent RBT certification is considered an asset
