RISE ABA SERVICES

We are seeking individuals who are inspired to make a difference in the lives of children and youth with autism. The ideal candidate will work closely enrich the lives children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities, implementing individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) principles, facilitate programming and work to reduce problem behaviours. This role requires a strong commitment to client care, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with families and other professionals in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Carry out the goals of individualized treatment plans. Implement ABA strategies and interventions during therapy sessions to promote skill acquisition and behaviour modification. Engage with clients using play based approaches to enhance skill development Collect and analyze data on each child's progress, adjusting targets as necessary based on findings. Consistency in therapy approaches across different settings. Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and any changes in behaviour or skills. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to care and special education. Ability to work with clients of various ages (2-17) and skill set Ability to travel and work within a clinic setting and in-home setting

Qualifications

Experience working with children of diverse backgrounds and needs. Strong data collection skills for tracking progress and outcomes effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with children and their families. A passion for helping children reach their full potential through effective therapeutic interventions. Hold a diploma or degree in Autism and Behavioural Sciences, Social Work (SSW). Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child and Youth Worker ( CYW/CYC), Personal Support Worker (PSW) Have a current Vulnerable Sectors Check (within a year) or willing to obtain a updated VSC Have a clean driving record and valid G licence Have Personal Liability Insurance or willing to obtain
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
