Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated ABA Senior Therapist Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities, implementing and designing individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles with the support of supervising Senior Therapists (BCBA/RBA supervision).

Your primary role is to support Senior Therapists in their work.

Responsibilities

Conduct assessments to determine the needs of each child and develop tailored treatment plans. Implement ABA strategies and techniques during occasional one-on-one therapy sessions. Ensure all data is being properly recorded. Collaborate with parents, educators, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to care. Provide training and support to families on behavioral strategies to reinforce learning at home. Support supervising Senior Therapists in program writing, training Instructor Therapists, and general supervision. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Skills

Strong background in implementing and understanding ABA strategies Proficient in data collection methods for tracking progress and outcomes effectively. Ability to conduct research to inform best practices and improve therapeutic interventions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, families, and team members. A compassionate approach toward patient care, fostering a nurturing environment for growth and development. Ability to take initiative and ensure reliable and valid clinical work.

Education

Required:Master's degree (or actively working on Master's degree) in ABA

Applicants seeking certification supervision hours will have an opportunity to develop their skill sets under a BCBA/RBA and have all requirements fulfilled
