Responsibilities
Creating savory baked goods to meet customer specifications and enhance presentation.
Prepare food items according to recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency in taste and appearance.
Assist with cooking tasks as needed, including baking, frying, and grilling various menu items.
Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with patrons, taking orders, and addressing inquiries.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Handle food products safely and efficiently, following proper food handling guidelines.
Package finished products for sale or delivery, ensuring they are presented attractively.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods.
Requirements
Proven experience creating and assembling savory baked pies (namely; Lebanese pies) and baking is highly desirable.
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred, demonstrating familiarity with food preparation techniques.
Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry.
The ability to multitask and work efficiently in English and in Arabic as the two key languages in delivery details to other staff members.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food handling procedures is essential. The ability to keep cost measuring figures and details surrounding inventory required for the kitchen.
