The role of the Warehouse worker is to make sure we deliver quality goods in the timely manner to our customer instructions, while maintaining products in excellent condition. To achieve this, you must ensure the accuracy of the inventory. In addition, he/she will perform mechanical assembly of some of our products as needed. Training will be provided and offers excellent careers advancement opportunities.
The candidate will report directly and work closely with the Warehouse Manager and the Assembly and Configuration Manager. The candidate will follow procedures and work instructions and represent Everest in providing reliable, quality service to our customers.
Tasks and responsibilities
xc2xb7 Perform physical receiving of products
xc2xb7 Maintain receiving/shipping records
xc2xb7 Book the various carriers
xc2xb7 Assisting Sales Team with in/outbound shipments
xc2xb7 Ensure the cleanliness and security of the warehouse
xc2xb7 Prepare customers PO from pick list
xc2xb7 Proceed to the shipping of the goods
xc2xb7 Operate lifting devices such as forklifts and hoists
xc2xb7 Perform mechanical and instrumentation assembly
xc2xb7 Configure and calibrate equipment when needed
xc2xb7 Any other related task
Qualifications:
xc2xb7 High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
xc2xb7 Good written and verbal communications skills
xc2xb7 Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
xc2xb7 Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word)
xc2xb7 Strong attention to detail
xc2xb7 Responsible and structured
xc2xb7 Ability to adapt quickly to last minute changes
xc2xb7 Good ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
xc2xb7 Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. if needed
xc2xb7 Ability to work alone and autonomously
xc2xb7 Manual ability, meticulous
xc2xb7 Commitment to Health and Safety
Working Conditions:
xc2xb7 Use of required personal protective equipment
xc2xb7 On occasion you could be asked to work outside normal hours and/or overtime
xc2xb7 Occasional Driving may be required
xc2xb7 Capability to use the necessary tools: lift, tother machinery, or equipment
xc2xb7 Extended periods of standing, and other physically demanding conditions
xc2xb7 Lifting, moving, or manipulating objects as per Everest's Lifting H&S Program
