This seminar will explore the whole life carbon of the University of Toronto\'s own built infrastructure. Students will be exposed to theoretical and practical applications of building Life Cycle Assessment, building daylight and energy models, and post-occupancy analysis through case studies of the 10 U of T buildings. Students will engage with the principals and evaluative criteria of Life Cycle Assessment Theory, Whole Building Life Cycle Assessment, Whole Life Carbon Assessment, Post-Occupancy Analysis, and Operational Energy Analysis.

Salary: Sessional Lecturer I - $9,457.90; Sessional Lecturer I Long Term - $9,930.79; Sessional Lecturer II - $10,121.77; Sessional Lecturer II Long Term - $10,326.62; Sessional Lecturer III - $10,362.76; Sessional Lecturer III Long Term - $10,570.02 (inclusive of vacation pay)

Minimum Qualifications: M.Arch degree or other Graduate degree in Architecture preferred
Preferred Qualifications: Academic and professional expertise in the field of Building Science: Life Cycle Assessment, Carbon Assessment, Post-Occupancy Analysis, and Operational Energy Analysis.
Description of Duties: Preparation and delivery of course material; managing digital teaching materials, supervision of teaching assistants; preparation and delivery of assignments, tests, final examinations, and deferred final examinations; marking of student work, submission of grades, dealing with student enquiries, appeals and petitions, and student contact hours.
