Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service, as you will interact with clients during deliveries.

Duties

Operate and drive trucks to transport goods to various locations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of items to prevent damage. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Assist in warehouse operations when necessary, including heavy lifting and operating forklifts. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions at delivery sites.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving is preferred, with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Background in warehouse operations and moving logistics is advantageous. Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safety protocols is essential. Previous experience operating forklifts is a plus. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with clients and team members. License with full air brake will be given priority.

Pay: $15.80-$17.00 per hour
