Job Description

Duties:

- Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment as necessary
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking oil, tires, and brakes
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, transportation, and delivery

Experience:

- Previous experience as a truck driver or in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Ability to operate a forklift and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Physical stamina and strength to perform heavy lifting and moving of cargo
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
