Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating commercial vehicles to transport freight efficiently and safely across various routes. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, knowledge of heavy equipment operation, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards. As an Owner Operator Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while managing your own vehicle and adhering to all regulatory requirements.

Duties

Safely operate commercial trucks and heavy equipment to transport freight to designated locations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and freight to ensure safety and compliance Load, secure, and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance records Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle reliability Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during operations Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and potential issues

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience in freight transportation, heavy equipment operation, or related fields Driver assist offload maybe required Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting vehicle issues on the road Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong focus on safety and compliance Prior experience as an owner operator preferred but not required; must be self-motivated and independent Must pass background checks relevant to transportation safety standards

Reefer 5 ton Low profile truck 26 foot box Max height 13 feet Power tailgate required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $8,000.00-$12,000.00 per month
