Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. Rocky Pointe Electric based out of Cochrane Alberta is currently seeking a full time 4th year apprentice or journeyman. Full time hours. No weekends or evenings. Must have residential experience. Benefits after 3 months. To start immediately. References required.

Responsibilities

Assist experienced electricians in installing and maintaining electrical systems and equipment. Learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand electrical layouts. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision. Support the installation of low voltage systems as directed. Help troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety on job sites. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while performing tasks.

Skills

Basic understanding of electrical principles and systems is preferred. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Knowledge of low voltage systems is beneficial. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $36.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
