Job Description
Our client, a leader in the food industry is looking for a talented lead electrician to join their operations in Mississauga.The Lead Electrician is responsible for maintaining electrical, mechanical, and other related systems. The Electrician must be prepared to work as a team member, follow all safety and food safety procedures, and have a high threshold for heat in a manufacturing environment.Job Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):PLC and HMI troubleshooting including modification and calibration of equipment; VFD; Servomotors and control experience.Lead electrical team members in daily task and preventative maintence scheduleMaintain, modify, repair, install, improve, and troubleshoot various type of machinery, and equipment; mixers, depositors, ovens, slicers, conveyors, checkweighers, Flow wrappers, carton formers, printers, sealers, and packaging equipment.Troubleshoot any mechanical or electrical breakdown in the production process to ensure minimal loss in the manufacturing of our products.Perform all planned maintenance and safety inspection assigned in a timely manner and document actions in CMMS.Assist in the installation of any new equipment in the facility.
