Job Description

We are seeking a

3rd-year level Sprinkler Apprentice

with hands-on installer experience using

BlazeMaster CPVC fire sprinkler systems

. The ideal candidate will support the installation, modification, and testing of fire sprinkler systems while working under the supervision of a licensed journeyperson or foreman. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities



Install fire sprinkler systems using

BlazeMaster CPVC fittings and piping

in accordance with project specifications, manufacturer guidelines, and applicable codes Assist with layout, measuring, cutting, assembling, and securing CPVC piping Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and installation plans Perform system modifications, repairs, and tie-ins as required Support pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning of sprinkler systems Maintain a clean and safe worksite in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and materials Work collaboratively with foremen, journeypersons, and other trades on-site Report issues, material shortages, or safety concerns to supervision

Qualifications & Requirements



Registered

3rd-year Sprinkler Apprentice

(or equivalent experience) Proven installer experience with

BlazeMaster CPVC fire sprinkler systems

Basic knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire codes (preferred) Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Experience with carbon steel pipe schedule -40 & schedule -80 and Victalic joints & fittings OHSA & Working at Heights Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity Physically able to lift materials, work at heights, and perform repetitive tasks Reliable transportation to the

HCC

Preferred Skills



Previous commercial or residential sprinkler installation experience Familiarity with CPVC solvent cementing procedures and best practices Experience working in active construction environments Good communication and teamwork skills

Pay: $17.48-$30.00 per hour
