Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various electrical projects, gaining hands-on experience while working under the supervision of experienced electricians. This role is perfect for individuals looking to build a career in the electrical field, particularly in industrial and commercial settings.

The electrical project is for Mississauga, make sure you're residing around Mississauga or GTA for this role. Any applicants for KWC will not be qualified for this post.

Responsibilities

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Work with experienced electricians to learn and apply skills related to low voltage and high voltage systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents. Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems. Participate in construction site activities, adhering to safety protocols and regulations. Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Experience

Previous experience as an industrial or commercial electrician is preferred but not required. Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards is a plus. Basic knowledge of frame carpentry is beneficial for understanding construction site dynamics. Hands-on experience with electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications. Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. A strong willingness to learn and develop skills in the electrical trade.
