We are looking for a skilled and innovative

CAD Designer

to join our New Product Development and Engineering team for HVAC products. As a 3D CAD Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings of HVAC fans and blowers. You will work closely with our engineering and product development team to ensure that designs meet performance, quality, and manufacturability standards and certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and technical drawings using industry-standard software - SolidWorks and Draftsight. Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, purchasing, marketing, and manufacturing to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective and competitive. Assist in prototyping and product testing as required. Create and maintain design documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and technical specifications. Perform simulations and analyses to validate design performance and identify potential issues. Collaborate with the engineering team to refine designs and ensure they meet performance specifications, regulations, safety standards, and manufacturing requirements. Conduct and participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve product functionality and efficiency. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in CAD technology to continuously improve design process.

Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field. Proficiency in SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, or other 3D CAD software 2-3 years' experience ina 3D CAD Designer. Experience with new product development, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience within HVAC industry strongly desired. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively share ideas and technical information. Familiarity with HVAC standards, certifications, and regulations. Strong understanding of HVAC systems, fans and blowers. Experience with FEA analysis tool within Solidworks.
