What will you do...
The Program Coordinator for the IWF Program is responsible for the successful delivery and management of program activities aimed at supporting women through employment-readiness training, skills development, and social support services. This role involves direct client engagement, program evaluation, reporting, and coordination with community partners to ensure program goals and client satisfaction are met.
Duties/Responsibilities
Deliver and oversee all aspects of the IWF Program to meet goals and ensure client satisfaction.
Facilitate employment-readiness, occupational skills, entrepreneurial development, customer care, and violence against women education workshops.
Conduct need assessments to determine readiness and support requirements.
Provide system navigation, supportive counselling, and referrals to community and government services.
Maintain accurate records of program resources, participants, volunteers, and client files while ensuring confidentiality.
Monitor and evaluate program outcomes; prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual narrative reports and statistics.
Organize client-focused information sessions with guest speakers from relevant agencies.
Revise curriculum based on client feedback and evolving needs.
Promote the program through outreach and recruit participants following established protocols.
Ensure adherence to best practices in program delivery and client support.
Attend workshops, trainings, conferences and staff meetings as required.
Assume other duties as assigned.
Completion of a Community College diploma in a related field
Volunteer Management Certificate
Knowledge of Social Services, Recreation & Leisure Services etc.
Advanced computer knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Work Environment
Typical office working environment
The position requires sitting in one work area much of the time.
The position requires normal levels of seeing and hearing and may require increased use of senses on a periodic basis (e.g. concentration) but not continuously or for long periods of time.
The position requires the normal dexterity required to do either manual or computerized record keeping.
The environment is generally comfortable with exposure to normal levels of elements such as dust with minor fluctuations in heating/ventilating.
Some exposure to disagreeable conditions.
Minimal risk of injury to worker
Minimal travel requirements
This role requires regular travel across the region, which may not always be easily accessible through public transit. The employee must be able to arrange their transportation to these sites. A valid G driver's license and full-time vehicle access are strongly recommended.
